C.R.Bakery Co.

Growing up my dad, Randy Baker, owned and operated his own roofing company, C.R. Baker Co.  He worked day in and day out using his hands to build and fix things for the Pittsburgh area and beyond.  C.R. Bakery Co. is an homage to him and his work.  Sure, I've replaced the power tools with mixing bowls... and the brick and mortar with flour and eggs. However, the goal remains the same: to pursue my passion and to provide the highest quality handcrafted products to be enjoyed by my neighbors, the community, and you!

My name is Connie, but I have been given the title of Sweet Yogi because I am also a trained yoga instructor and personal trainer (studio space currently in the works...stay posted!). My philosophy on food is this: I'm not going to sit on my deathbed grateful I counted calories my whole life. So that's how I live, and what I say to my yogis, personal training clients, and bakery patrons alike. Exercise makes you happy. Yoga makes you happy. Delicious things make you happy. Experience all of the things that make you happy, in moderation, without feeling guilty about it. I just gave you permission to eat tasty foods...aren't I the best trainer you could ask for?!
